Technicolor is currently recruiting for a fantastic VFX Line Producer within our Soho office!

The studio and the team are growing so it is an exciting time to join us.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with the Senior Producer, Lead Artists and Supervisors to create, implement and run the schedule, track and manage the workflow through the departments and meet internal and external deadlines.
  • Overseeing the Production Coordinator and VFX Production Assistant and ensure that the organisation of dailies, rounds and client reviews meet the production schedule for different projects in the studio.
  • Scheduling artist and workstation time on projects in collaboration with Senior Producer
  • Liaising with outsourcing vendors, working alongside the VfX editors

·         Ensuring Shotgun is updated daily with notes and critical information in conjunction with the VFX Co-ordinators and VFX Editors

  • Overseeing the execution of client deliveries of all temps and finals in conjunction with VFX EdItors
  • Checking in with the artists & VFX Editorial regularly to ensure artists and the overall production pipeline is running smoothly
  • Reading scripts and reviewing offlines of projects in order to be aware of key story points / context of VFX for projects being bid on and/or worked on in the studio
  • Attending VFX spotting sessions with director, producer and editorial
  • Bidding on projects in collaboration Senior Producer
  • Communicating coherently with other internal departments (DI and Broadcast) on scheduling and pricing
  • Communicating coherently with clients and ensure schedule and budget are on track

Qualifications

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience within VFX

·         Excellent organizational and communication skills

·         Knowledge of 2D and 3D VFX workflows

·         An in-depth understanding of file formats, tech specs and resolutions

·         Advanced knowledge of Excel

·         Knowledge of Shotgun and Cinesync (preferable but not a necessity)

·         An interest in VFX for film and TV
