Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reporting to the VFX Senior Producer and Line Producers.
  • A team player with an enthusiasm for and understanding of the VFX process.
  • Working with the VFX Producers and VFX Editorial to track and manage the workflow through the department to deadline, schedule and budget.
  • Working with VFX Producers to organise dailies, rounds and project meetings.
  • Working with VFX Producers to organise and setup media for cinesync / client review sessions.
  • Working with VFX Editorial to send out packages for outsourcing and receive packages back from outsourcing vendors
  • Ensuring Shotgun (project management tool) statuses and task assignments are kept up to date.
  • Recording all shot notes whether from clients, dailies, rounds or cinesyncs.
  • Coordinating deliveries with VFX Editorial, including submission documentation .
  • Ensuring effective communication by providing continual team updates.
  • Coordinating and monitoring multiple projects effectively.
  • Ensuring project scope, status and completion information up to date (Shotgun).
  • Documenting decisions and requests, and ensuring items are tracked and managed appropriately.
  • Ensuring work is being approved and completed on time and to specification.
  • Monitoring and controlling artist progress / time, flag issues and prepare reports.
  • Liaising with other Technicolor departments on scheduling, DI requirement and internal deliveries.

 

Qualifications

 

·         Minimum 18 months of experience within post production with a keen interest and knowledge of the VFX process and disciplines.

·         Excellent organizational skills

·         Strong communication skills

·         Working knowledge of Shotgun desirable

·         Working knowledge of Cinesync preferable but not a necessity

·         Advanced knowledge of Excel, good knowledge of Word and Outlook.

·         Knowledge of Filemaker Pro or similar database desirable

·         An interest in VFX for film and TV
