    The Technical Director, DI will work in a diverse and highly agile environment. A natural problem solver who understands the criticality of service uptime and client service environments and able to work as part of a team.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Baselight Cloud Design and Support (Rendering)
    • Baselight General Support
    • Scripting, Python & BASH
    • SAN Configuration and Optimization
    • Fibre Channel Switch and Networking
    • GPFS / Stornext File System Support
    • Colour Science and Pipeline knowledge
    • Flame Support of Benefit
    • Servers installation configuration and maintenance
    • Network Monitoring and Change Management (Ansible)
    • Storage Configuration and Support (SOD, HNAS)


    • Able to work at the elite level of Studio Feature post production·
    • Solid ‘hands on’ engineering background in SAN style production storage systems, networks and scripting
    • Hands on support of Feature DI technology including a strong knowledge of multiple and networked Baselight grading system
    • Operational outlook and comfortable with providing our Production team and Clients with well-founded advice on workflow and technology solutions· 
    • Knowledge or an interest in growing knowledge of Color Science
    • Must be a team player, prepared to share knowledge and develop the skills of others across all Technicolor businesses both in the UK and abroad· 
    • Forward looking, resourceful, natural curiosity about technology and what we do and enjoys solving problems 
    • The role is critical to meeting client deadlines and requires a flexible approach to hours and days worked.
