Overview

Technicolor HES UK is currently seeking a Planning Scheduler to join the Planning Team in Rugby, Warwickshire.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Planning Manager, the main responsibilities are on a daily basis to:

 

  • Manage the VAS capacity to ensure that a seamless service is provided to Technicolor and its clients.
  • Optimise the line capacities in VAS, and machine throughput versus staffing levels and volume of stock going through the department.
  • Plan the return volume on the sorter and provide a careful balance between outbound and return sortation
  • Respond to client’s quotes, manage the recharging process
  • Manage expectations from internal clients but also from other external clients and manufacturing by offering solutions and transposing their requests into capacity.
  • Coordinate the work with the rest of the parties involved: Planning, Operation and the Client Services Teams.

 

The role will require the candidate to forge close relationships with the Operational teams here in Rugby but also, the temporary staff agency, Finance Uk and FSSC, Client Services Distribution (Rugby) and Manufacturing (Piaseczno), Offload team, Sales Teams as well as with external clients where the candidate would be the principle point of contact.

Qualifications

Candidates should have experience of working in a similar environment and harvest a desire for excellence. They would be able to create accurate, well presented reports and plans and be highly organised with the ability to plan their workload to ensure documents are available to the operation on time.

 

The successful candidate should be a team player who will support both their immediate and wider teams. Communications skills are paramount. Managing to work under pressure is key.

 

The successful candidate should ideally also have the following:

• Training to a good level on the use of Microsoft packages, specifically Excel

• Use of stock control system such as AS400 / JBA etc

• Experienced in working, office based, ideally within a planning environment

• The ability to understand Bill of Materials and packing requirements

 

The working hours for this role will be: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday with a 30 mins lunch break.
