Overview

Technicolor is currently looking for a mid level Nuke artist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to develop with our fast-growing team of Nuke artists.

We have a very busy 2017 ahead of us and are looking to expand our team to work on some exciting new high profile new TV drama series and independent feature films.

 

ABOUT TECHNICOLOR VISUAL EFFECTS

We are a fast-growing created team of visual effects artists and producers working to deliver high end VFX for television dramas and independent feature films.

Our team was brought into the Technicolor fold by our Head of VFX, Gary Brown, the owner and founder of Munky, an Emmy nominated boutique Soho based VFX company which had 12 successful years of creating VFX for commercials, television drama and film. The former Munky team have worked on a wide range of television dramas and serials including Indian Summers (C4), Grantchester (ITV), And Then There Were None (BBC), Stonemouth (BBC), The Enfield Haunting (Sky) and Partners In Crime (BBC). Recent films include Brooklyn, Testament of Youth and Life On The Road.

 

ABOUT TECHNICOLOR LONDON

Technicolor London is based in Lexington Street in the heart of Soho and we offer a range of post-production services from dailies through to grading, online and audio on feature films and television drama series.

Recent broadcast credits include Victoria, Poldark and Black Mirror. Recent films include Fantastic Beasts, 45 Years and Steve Jobs.

Responsibilities

  • Landscape and set extension work
  • Integration CGI assets into live action footage
  • Working to create weather effects including fog, snow and rain (2D or with 3D assets)
  • Developing and refining workflows
  • A creative approach to compositing and ability to solve problems

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proficient working knowledge of Nuke – 4 years minimum
  • Previous experience in a professional VFX environment – preferably on high-end TV drama and/or feature films
  • Previous experience working with Linux
  • Experience of rotoscope and clean up
  • Experience with chroma key
  • Provide examples of seamless composition work in live action plates
  • An understanding of the whole film and broadcast pipeline
  • An education or interest in real world lighting and photography
  • Valid current UK and/or EU working visa
  • Available to start from January 2017
